We are so thrilled that Matt has joined the team of advocates for Rally4Life.
Matt is an accomplished ultra marathoner! That means he typically runs further in one race than most of us will run in a year. Not only does he do long races, but he is known for being fast too.
Matt is also a base director for FeViva, one of the charities that Rally4Life supports. He is a real inspiration for the children at the FeViva Children’s home, sharing a message of hope with them and encouraging them to become better people.
Matt is joining advocate Mark Jennings-Bates this fall in Guatemala to complete a 100km ultrmarathon which the FeViva children will also be doing in a 4 x 25km relay. In training for the 100km run, Matt will be competing a 200km ultramarathon in 24 hours in Alberta to raise funds for children in Nicaragua.
Matt is an inspiration not only to those he competes with but also to all the young children that he and his wife Kerry so lovingly care for at Casa Esparanza in Guatemala.
